What do you need when you get a rechargeable flashlight?
You need something that provides you with the right level of brightness, and given that you may be using it in certain situations that require an altered level of brightness, being able to adjust the brightness is key.
It also needs to be easy to move around - for instance if you are carrying it around while on a search, or you are out hunting, it cannot be too heavy. It should also have a grip that is comfortable, so you don’t need to shift it around in your hand to carry it. You are most likely going to be using it in connection with other equipment so weight is a factor.
If you are carrying it for a long time, is it likely to overheat? If you are investing a lot of money in the flashlight, is it going to last for a long time? Spending a lot on a flashlight that is going to burn out after a year or so isn’t going to make you very happy.
Can it take a knock, or is it going to break the first time you drop it? All of these sights that we are looking at below are not going to give you that problem. Everyone has had a substandard object that did this, and it cost as much in time as it did to replace.
